Picture it, you are waiting in line at the doctors office and the person in front of you is sporting a giant Juicy Couture bag, 7 for All Mankind Jeans, Coach shoes and an iPhone. Then she proceeds to whip out a MediCal card. I had to keep biting my tongue to help prevent my jaw from hitting the floor.
The economy just plain SUCKS. People are out of work, can't find a new job and are losing their homes. There are people out there in the world that truly need a little help and those are the folks who MediCal should be for. Not for those who continue to shop at Nordstrom and pay 30.00 a month for their iPhone data plan.
Clearly I am doing something wrong. I paid my $15.00 co-pay with money out of my $6.00 clearance wallet. Do I have an iPhone? Well, yes I do but I also don't have a MediCal card.
Really.
